The deck is a bit shorter than some of the other models I've tried, but it's still comfortable for most users.
The Commercial 1250 is able to track your heart rate using the SmartBeat wireless chest strap (sold separately) and the treadmill utilizes that information to automatically adjust the speed and incline based on your optimal training zone. This feature is called ActivePulse and is a big reason why I love the 1250 over similar treadmills in this price range.

The iFit app also offers guided runs that can bring you to places such as Patagonia. If you don't want to use iFit, the treadmill will still function but you won't be able to access the automatic adjustments or immersive training experience.
